What You Will Do:
Manage equipment, material, and subcontractor estimates
Handle purchasing and release of non-commodity items
Oversee submittal, operations, maintenance, and closeout processes
Negotiate and price all change orders
Develop initial project schedules
Submit RFIs and review responses for scope impact
Provide project information to Construction Manager, job Superintendent, Fabrication Division, and Start-up Supervisor
Collaborate with the Virtual Construction Department for detailing information
What We Are Looking For:
Hands-on project management experience in commercial construction projects
Experience managing projects lasting a year or more
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical), Building Construction, or Construction Engineering Management
Strong analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Excel and project management software
Knowledge of business and management principles in strategic planning, accounting, cost forecasting, and resource coordination
Ability to deal diplomatically with internal and external customers (owners, GCs, subcontractors, engineers, superintendents, draftsmen)
Knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings, specifications, building materials, engineering standards, and codes
