JustinBradley's client, a multinational mass media and entertainment company, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst IV for a 4-month project. As a Business Systems Analyst IV, you will work on diverse projects within a new program focused on the content space supporting a wide range of initiatives involving data, from integrations and platforms to data engineering, AI, reporting, analytics, and data governance. Their team works across enterprise data, product, and technical program management to provide end-to-end solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
Process Analysis and Improvement
Analyze existing business processes related to financial planning and sales operations, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to redesign processes that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with the Studios strategy.
Document and map current and future state processes, providing clear and actionable insights to stakeholders.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Collaborate with data teams to analyze financial, sales, and operational data, providing insights that inform decision-making and prioritization.
Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations that present data clearly and actionably to various stakeholders.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the analysis and reporting processes.
Stakeholder Management
Serve as a liaison between business users and the technical program team, ensuring business needs are clearly communicated and understood.
Facilitate communication between Studios stakeholders and the CIO/CTO organizations, ensuring alignment on program goals and deliverables.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on business analysis activities, emerging issues, and risks.
Solution Design Support
Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and data teams to ensure proposed solutions meet business requirements.
Participate in designing new systems or enhancing existing ones to align with functional specifications and business objectives.
Assist in developing test cases and scenarios to validate that solutions meet business needs.
Change Management and Training
Support change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies within the Studios.
Develop training materials and conduct sessions to ensure end-users are equipped to effectively use new tools and processes.
Monitor user adoption and provide ongoing support to address any issues or concerns.
Documentation and Compliance
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, user guides, and training materials.
Ensure all documentation is up-to-date, accessible, and compliant with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
Must Have Skills / Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to gather and document complex business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
Expertise in financial systems, sales planning tools, data management platforms, and enterprise technology architecture.
Strong business process improvement experience.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and familiarity with SQL or other database query languages is a plus.
Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements:
A strong understanding of the media and entertainment industry, particularly in content production and distribution, is a plus.
Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or similar certification is preferred.
Any relevant financial or data management certifications are a plus.

Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to provide actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is a plus.
