One of our clients is looking to bring on a Pre-construction Manager to lead estimating efforts across a variety of projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for;
Managing and coordinating the preconstruction phase to ensure that cost objectives are met in areas such as contracting, scheduling, estimating, and bidding.
Ensure estimates are precise, thorough, and aligned with the project's specific needs.
Evaluating subcontractor proposals to ensure they come from qualified, financially stable companies through a formal prequalification process.
Additionally, the role involves preparing detailed estimates (conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction) and assessing cost models during the Design Development and/or bidding phases.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of construction estimating
Strong proficiency in Bluebeam for creating and editing PDF documents
