Job Description:

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking for a business analyst to support our client, the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA). Our client is actively driving the modernization of their program and supporting IT infrastructure. They intend to streamline applications, increase productivity, share data in real-time, and provide a reporting structure that enables data-driven justification for planning and decision making. To support, we are providing program and agile IT management, requirements gathering, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), change management, training, analytics, reporting/dashboarding, and program and policy analysis.

GENERAL DUTIES:
  • Primary responsibility to design, develop, and deliver user guides and training for VBA IT modernization program increment releases that aid in the seamless transition and adoption of new technologies and processes.
  • Support coordinating, planning, strategizing, and collaborating on communication materials to include directives, release notices, and information papers.
  • Review user guides and training materials for 508 and security compliance.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies to facilitate the successful adoption of program goals.
  • Engage stakeholders at all levels to build understanding and commitment to change initiatives
  • Provide comprehensive communications, briefing material and brief applicable to leadership and staff regarding the portfolio health of the business transformation effort.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years of process improvement and advisory/consulting experience
  • Experience with change management, preferably in the federal space
  • Experience working with executive clients and have the ability to be flexible and willing to receive and process feedback
  • Experience working with individuals that have different functional expertise while working toward a common goal
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Project
  • Effective verbal and written communications

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs

CLEARANCE:
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent resident and the ability to pass a government security investigation for a clearance, and maintain the clearance, are required because of government contractual terms.
