Job Description:

New opportunity with our client who is seeking to hire a Management Analyst to provide logistical and analytical support to various governance boards and working groups in support for our Veterans Health Administration (VHA) client. Candidates must be experienced with facilitating meetings, developing presentations, and documenting reports in support of governance boards and working groups which enable the VA mission and support the Investment Governance Services (IGS) and Strategic Investment Management (SIM) office.

This role will require two days onsite in Washington D.C.. Office location is adjacent to a Metro stop.

Essential Functions
• Facilitate meetings with leadership and stakeholders to highlight relevant program updates.
  • Document meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and track / follow up on action items.

• Create and update presentation slide decks in MS PowerPoint.
• Provide logistical and analytical support to various Investment Governance Services (IGS) Boards and Working Groups.
• Develop reports and presentations in support of governance boards and for leadership.
• Provide analytical review of documentation and provide analysis and recommendations to leadership.
• Communicate updates from boards and working groups back to architecture team and stakeholders to ensure knowledge sharing.
• Manage monthly consolidated status reports encompassing all meetings supported and deliverables produced.
• Provide strategic planning support by assisting in defining and identifying strategic goals, objectives, and milestones.
• Support strategic planning activities including assisting in defining processes, output, and future operational direction.

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Experience
  • A year or more of administrative experience with the ability to facilitate meetings
  • Must have the ability to obtain the client's Public Trust clearance
  • A proficiency in utilizing MS Office products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A highly motivated self-starter
  • Must be motivated and have excellent customer service skills
