What the Behavior Manager does:
Collaborate with the teaching team on developing and reviewing objectives for IEPs related to student support and behavioral interventions.
Assist in reviewing progress reports with the Program Director, Program Supervisor, and Student Support Specialists.
Participate in case reviews and the referral/intake process for potential students.
Provide crisis prevention and intervention, including monitoring the school, managing crises, and conducting follow-up recovery briefings.
Support students with skill development, consultation, supervision, and student support contracts.
Observe and support classroom management, assist with classroom activities, and collect data on student progress.
Handle student support data entry for the assigned program and participate in team meetings and briefings.
What the Behavior Manager brings to the team:
Bachelor's Degree in psychology, education, or related field required
Experience in crisis prevention/intervention required
Experience in applied behavior analysis, functional assessment, positive behavioral supports, behavior programming, and behavioral counseling preferred
