Job Description
The Harbor Department Information Technology Division is seeking a Programmer Analyst to assist IT team in supporting the Port's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Cloud Application.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Provide first-level technical support; manage, troubleshoot, and resolve system-related issues; document resolutions; and ensure timely responses and high-quality customer service to end users.
Collaborate with stakeholders, technical and functional teams on integration testing, data conversion, data extraction, role/access assignment.
Analyze, develop, and maintain business intelligent solutions, which include querying using SQL and PL/SQL, data transforming, and data modeling to create interactive dashboards and reports using Oracle reporting tools.
Interact with users to understand and translate the business requirements into technical requirements and action plans. Create and maintain documentation that includes design, requirements, and user manuals. Confirm requirements, review, test and validate work.
Collaborate with colleagues to identify needs and make recommendations for continued process improvements and system enhancements to support business needs and operational efficiencies.
Collaborate in the preparation of technical reports, diagrams, workflow maps, or other visuals to facilitate enhanced system understanding.
Organize and facilitate periodic stakeholders, status meeting, i.e., weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly meetings.
Create and manage documentation, maintain records of system changes and incidents.
Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information, ensuring all necessary security measures are taken.
Provide knowledge transfer and training to team members and stakeholders when necessary to ensure effective utilization of the ERP system; and
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Two to five years of experience as an implementer or super user of Oracle Fusion ERP.
