Position Summary: Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of the organization. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, strategic financial planning, and cross-departmental collaboration. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a proven ability to lead finance teams.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in developing and monitoring the annual budget, including regular forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Cost Management: Analyze and control costs to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Product Costing: Monitor production costs to ensure accuracy in manufacturing outcomes.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the finance team, promoting best practices and continuous professional development.
  • Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to protect company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analyses to support decision-making and identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 7-10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, with strong cost accounting skills.
  • Proficiency in financial regulations, reporting standards, and advanced Excel.
  • Experience with SAP is required.
  • Knowledge of payroll and 401(k) programs.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration across teams.
