The Senior Credit Manager, Financial Services reports to the Director, Financial Services, and leads the credit and collections team that supports one of the largest business units of Arrow Electronics North America (US & Canada). The team manages accounts receivables, extending credit and collecting outstanding AR effectively managing and protecting the integrity of the company's accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, have a drive for innovation and a focus on operational excellence.
What You'll Be Doing
Manages Team of 22 (4 managers, 18 staff split about equally between Denver and Guadalajara, Mexico)
Manages credit, collections, financing arrangements for Arrow's largest business unit (by sales dollar value) and has customers with the largest credit lines in the company
Monitor and drive team performance to ensure credit line approvals and renewals are completed timely and are fully supported and approved
Monitor and drive team collection performance (presently averages between 94-96% current)
Determine strategies to gain customer payments when billing errors and/or customer disputes occur and develop workout plans for financially distressed customers
Work with the Sales Team to coordinate new customer buying intentions to establish adequate credit lines while mitigating AR risk to the Company
Communicate with all levels of finance leadership in customer companies to gain financial data to determine credit lines and assess financial risk
Assess and negotiate customer payment terms
Communicate and report AR metrics (at quarterly Finance leadership meeting and at other times when required)
Trained in and knowledge of U.S. bankruptcy laws and how to handle a customer debt should a bankruptcy occur
What We Are Looking For
"Minimum" 7 consecutive years Credit Manager experience managing a team of at 'least' 5 members required
Credit Management with 'commercial' companies required
Strong communication and negotiation skills required
Ability to analyze and assess large quantities of financial data and report it in a condensed, concise manner to leadership
Experience and ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization to solve problems (from staff to piers to senior leaders)
Experience working in a distribution business a plus
Oracle systems experience a plus
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration (or a related field) required
Relocation is 'not' considered (seeking local candidate)

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$116,900.00 - $139,150.00
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
