The role of the Marketing Manager is to manage the Marketing Team and develop a coherent internal and external communication strategy. This will include defining the schedule, priorities, communication budget, necessary resources and means to accomplish the objectives of the strategy. The Marketing Manager will analyze the key performance indicators of the various communication tools and develop plans for incremental improvement. The position requires a global vision with an extensive focus on the details that ultimately are key to the success of investments in marketing activities. About The Position
Develop strategic initiatives for the Marketing Department
Defines schedule, priorities, budget, resource, and means to meet the defined communication strategy
Analyze key performance indicators of various communication tools used to develop the brand
Work with a team to select, organize and implement various channel events including exhibitions, seminars, and training
Develop customer loyalty and brand awareness through marketing actions like customer programs, gifts, memberships
Define and execute the media plan including web site updates, e-mail campaigns, channel partner communication, customer relationship management (CRM) software, social media, print media, press releases, catalogs, literature, video content, and marketing copy
Develop and distribute marketing collateral including flyers, catalogs, whitepapers, business cards, company documents, and video content in physical media and online platforms
Create marketing referral programs with channel partners, customers and manufacturers
Create and develop a set of internal or external tools through collaborating with sales teams and channel partners
Work closely with our Corporate Headquarters in Paris, France to synchronize with the international group strategies and initiatives.
Negotiate and establish agreements with media to promote brand
Negotiate prices and services for various marketing and advertising suppliers
Meet project deadlines and ensure successful implementation of targeted activities by monitoring key performance metrics
Reporting departmental activities and projects to management
Grow size and skills of the team
Performs related duties as required
Your Background
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
3-5 years relevant experience desired in Marketing, Communications or a related field
Surge Protection or industrial/commercial related experience is a plus
Strong communication skills including written, verbal and presentation
Experience in B2B markets, ideally in industrial/commercial markets
Proficient in project management
Self-motivated with ability to recognize opportunities and to learn and adapt quickly
Able to work comfortably in a leadership role or as an integral team member
Experience presenting to customers and team members in virtual or in-person meetings
Self-motivated and organized
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Bilingual skills in French or Spanish are a plus
Adept at domestic and international travel
Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, Emailing, Project Management, Social Media and Virtual Meeting Platforms, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn.
Intermediate or advanced skill level in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically, InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop and Flash Professional
Proficient in financial calculations related to marketing costs and department budgets
