Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and manage construction activities in the field, ensuring adherence to project specifications and schedules.

  • Coordinate with project managers, superintendents and other stakeholders to provide technical support and resolve construction challenges.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality control procedures on job sites.

  • Review and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.

  • Monitor daily progress and performance, including manpower, equipment, and materials, and provide reports to project management.

  • Oversee and document site inspections, material testing, and other quality assurance activities.

  • Assist in preparing and reviewing project documentation, such as daily reports, RFIs (Requests for Information), and change orders.

  • Provide field support for construction teams, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.

  • Ensure proper documentation of field activities, including photographs, drawings, and reports, for project records.

  • Assist in coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on field progress and any issues or delays.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Previous experience in heavy civil construction, including experience with roads, bridges, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects, is a plus

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, safety protocols, and industry standards.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.

  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
