POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager of Physician Compensation supports the Senior Director of Total Rewards in managing the compensation review process across all medical groups.
Develop physician compensation strategies which align with financial and organizational goals and objectives.
This position maintains and assists in making recommendations related to physician compensation plans which drive productivity and profitability.
Responsible for the planning, design and implementation of relevant pay practices to ensure fair market value.
Design policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance in relation to physician compensation plans and practices.
Advise and consult with the Compensation and HR Teams in the data analysis and implementation of physician compensation policies and research.
Partners with Leadership and the Legal team to develop or modify new agreements.
Administrates the compensation systems which house existing agreements.
Coordinate payments for Physicians with Human Resources and Payroll.
Needs the technical skillsets for financial modeling, internal/external competitive assessments.
Serves as communication liaison with Medical Network Leadership, Business Development, Recruiting, and Finance departments, as well as Medical Network Human Resources and Payroll departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the hospital environment, including exposure to infectious disease, blood-borne pathogens, hazardous substances, and potential injury. Moderate to heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling, continuous walking and standing.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
This position will report to the Senior Director of Total Rewards. This position will have no immediate Direct Reports.
