Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Construction Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. This role requires a balance of entrepreneurial instinct and technical expertise to oversee and estimate a dynamic portfolio of ground-up facilities. The ideal candidate has a proven history of managing complex construction projects, excels in building strong client relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
Project Management:
Oversee all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction to close-out, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
Lead subcontractor selection, negotiation, and management.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to maintain design and quality standards.
Estimating:
Prepare detailed cost estimates, including material, labor, and overhead.
Develop accurate bids and proposals for projects across sectors.
Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitive and accurate cost projections.
Client & Team Leadership:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Lead internal teams and subcontractors to achieve project milestones.
Uphold safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across all job sites.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial construction, with expertise in both project management and estimating.
Experience in multi-family, retail, childcare, educational, medical, industrial, and/or military base projects is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and safety regulations.
Proficient in construction management and estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).
Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
