# of Years of Experience: Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but no required
Hardware / Software Knowledge Needed: To excel in this position, it is important to have proficiency in using a computer and familiarity/ability to learn manufacturing software. These skills are essential for effectively performing the tasks and responsibilities associated with the role.
Tools / Equipment Knowledge Needed (i.e. calipers, forklift experience, etc.) Contingent workers will primarily be using hand application of raw material onto molds
Dress Code & PPE items that are required:
Safety glasses with side shields must be worn at all times when inside the manufacturing areas of the plant. Client will issue non-prescription industrial safety glasses that meet the ANSI Z-87 standard free of charge. Prescription glasses must also conform to the Z-87 standard, or Z-87 over-glasses must be worn. Safety glasses with tint or mirrored lenses are not allowed without a Doctor's note requiring them.
Expectation is to dress appropriately for a professional workplace. Acceptable attire includes long or short sleeve shirts and long pants. Examples of unacceptable attire include T-shirts (except on designated days), athletic wear (such as sweatpants and leggings), shorts, tank tops, and any clothing that is too short, thin, tight, has holes, or is otherwise revealing. It is recommended not to wear jewelry, as rings, bracelets, and necklaces can catch in moving machine parts and cause serious injury. Additionally, long hair and beards must be tied back or covered with a hat in production areas.
ANSI Z41-1999 complaint safety shoes must be worn.
