Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Manager to oversee the statewide rollout of a community action campaign. This initiative aims to promote early brain and language
development by supporting families and caregivers in underserved communities with tools to talk, read, and sing with their young children.
Key Responsibilities: • Project Management: Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation phases of the community action campaigns. • Meeting Coordination: Schedule, organize, and facilitate virtual meetings, including kick-off meetings, monthly regional meetings, technical assistance sessions, cohort meetings, and final project meetings. • Training Support: Coordinate and support training sessions for local volunteer team members. • Resource Management: Order and track educational materials and resources, ensuring budget compliance and proper documentation for reimbursement. • Collaboration: Work closely with Too Small to Fail, IDOE, and Points of Contact to ensure smooth project execution and elective communication. • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of meetings, purchases, and inventory, and provide regular updates and reports to the client.
Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years of program management experience. • Proven experience in managing local and statewide campaigns. • Strong organizational and project management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including non-profits and educational institutions. • Proficiency in virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Teams, Zoom) and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet).
Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working with early childhood education programs. • Familiarity with the Talking is Teaching initiative or similar early childhood development programs.
Key Deliverables: • Facilitation of kick-off and monthly meetings. • Coordination of training sessions. • Management of resource purchasing and tracking. • Regular reporting and documentation of project progress and outcomes.
