Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review quotations for construction projects with a focus on accuracy, competitiveness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Gather and analyze quotes from suppliers and manufacturers to ensure we secure the best possible deals.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement in the quotation process and implementing constructive strategies.
  • Foster strong partnerships with vendors, aligning expectations and maintaining open, proactive communication.
  • Monitor and report on departmental performance, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing issues proactively and ensuring customer needs are met with professionalism and care.
  • Participate in pre-bid, pre-proposal, and site visit meetings with key contractors to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Compile comprehensive bid packages and submittals that meet project needs and exceed customer expectations.
  • Utilize computerized project management tools to track and manage open bids efficiently.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and relevant software programs.
  • Exceptional negotiation and customer service skills.

Desired Experience:
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role within the electric supply or construction industry.
