Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review quotations for construction projects with a focus on accuracy, competitiveness, and customer satisfaction.
Gather and analyze quotes from suppliers and manufacturers to ensure we secure the best possible deals.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement in the quotation process and implementing constructive strategies.
Foster strong partnerships with vendors, aligning expectations and maintaining open, proactive communication.
Monitor and report on departmental performance, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry regulations.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing issues proactively and ensuring customer needs are met with professionalism and care.
Participate in pre-bid, pre-proposal, and site visit meetings with key contractors to ensure alignment with project requirements.
Compile comprehensive bid packages and submittals that meet project needs and exceed customer expectations.
Utilize computerized project management tools to track and manage open bids efficiently.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and relevant software programs.
Exceptional negotiation and customer service skills.
Desired Experience:
5 years of experience in a similar role within the electric supply or construction industry.
