A leading global company in sustainable infrastructure and renewable energy is looking for an experienced EHS Manager to support its growing operations in the U.S. After expanding its U.S. footprint, the company has been driving significant wind, solar, and complex infrastructure projects across key sectors like energy and construction. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in Environmental, Health, and Safety management, with a proven track record in building and implementing HSE systems for large-scale projects. This role requires strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, team leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in promoting sustainability and resilience across the company's U.S. projects

The Role:
  • The Health, Safety, and Environment Manager will oversee all EHS activities, ensuring compliance with legal and client requirements while managing the Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Systems within an Integrated Management System for the project.
  • Responsibilities include developing and implementing EHS systems, supervising EHS personnel, and maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders.
  • The role involves setting and achieving quality and compliance standards, coordinating EHS related activities, and providing training and tools to support HSE objectives.
  • The EHS Manager will oversee documentation, track system performance, and ensure accurate administration and reporting of EHS practices.

The Candidate:
  • Bachelor's Degree in an Applied Science, Engineering or any related field.
  • REQUIRED: 20 years of experience in Health, Safety and Environment Roles, implementing construction and O&M safety programs for major infrastructure projects value at $200M or more.
  • Industry experience required: heavy civil (bridgework, railways, tunnels)
  • Minimum 2 years project experience managing a safety department
  • Managed through to project completion
