About the Role:
As a Project Manager, you'll oversee multi-family construction projects on behalf of the owner, ensuring all aspects of the development process are executed to the highest standards. From pre-construction planning to project delivery, you'll work closely with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to meet timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multi-family construction projects from the owner's perspective, ensuring alignment with the firm's vision and goals.
Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with architects, engineers, and contractors.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations, timelines, and quality standards.
Review and approve project documents, change orders, and payment requisitions.
Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, identify issues, and drive timely resolutions.
Maintain open communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project milestones and challenges.
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience managing multi-family construction projects, preferably on the owner's representative side.
Strong understanding of the multi-family development process, from pre-construction to turnover.
Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and complex project workflows.
Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Experience working with third-party contractors, architects, and engineers.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project).
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
