Technical Project Manager (Contractor) - Philadelphia- hybrid role
Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in software development and Agile principles, along with exceptional skills in stakeholder management, presentation, and communication across various business levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage one or more complex or enterprise-wide IT programs consisting of multiple projects.
Coach teams and individuals on Agile processes and tools.
Provide status reports on project KPIs, schedule, resources, and milestone delivery.
Develop program strategies, business cases, and high-level project plans.
Ensure integration of projects and adjust scope, timing, and budgets as needed.
Enact Scrum values and practices, ensuring proper adherence to Scrum processes.
Communicate program strategy, direction, and changes to IT leadership, business leadership, and IT Business Consultants.
Deliver all projects in the IT portfolio on time, within budget, and meeting strategic objectives.
Track project milestones and recommend adjustments as needed.
Partner with senior business leadership to identify and prioritize opportunities for IT advancements.
Manage new technical service engineering programs to meet product objectives.
Establish milestones, monitor schedules, identify risks, and drive mitigation strategies.
Coordinate across multiple engineering and development teams.
Bridge deployment and engineering teams to ensure requirements and design considerations enhance deployment and software sustainability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
7-10 years of Project Management experience in an Agile environment.
Project Management certification is mandatory.
Proven expertise in Project Management methodologies and tools.
Strong understanding and experience as a Scrum Master, demonstrating Agile leadership and servant leadership principles.
Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills for effective teamwork in cross-functional settings.
Preferred Skills:
Experience coordinating with diverse engineering/development teams.
Ability to track key milestones and adapt strategies to ensure timely delivery.
