Job Description:

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Coordinator to manage both domestic and international customer orders, ensuring timely and error-free transactions. This is a hybrid position with the option to work from home 2 days per week after the training period (2-3 months after hire).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage assigned customers (domestic and international) to ensure error-free order processing.
  • Receive, validate, and enter customer orders into Optical Fiber's PeopleSoft (PS) and SAP systems.
  • Create and maintain templates for shipments, ensuring logistics and customs compliance.
  • Approve invoices, credits, and rebates, and ensure accurate documentation for third-party vendors.
  • Track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and address any issues that arise.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, FDD, and product information within 24 hours.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments (e.g., Shipping, QA, Finance) to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations.
  • Develop strong product knowledge to assist with customer inquiries and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Assist the sales team with reports and analysis as needed.
  • Participate in project work and contribute to business teams as required.

Required Skills:
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service within a corporate environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, SharePoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Optical Fiber's PeopleSoft and SAP order management systems.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.

Education & Experience:
  • Minimum of an Associate degree.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in customer service or related fields.

Additional Information:
  • Option for hybrid work (2 days from home per week after training period).
  • Minimal to no travel requirements (possible trips to US plants or domestic customers).
