Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Coordinator to manage both domestic and international customer orders, ensuring timely and error-free transactions. This is a hybrid position with the option to work from home 2 days per week after the training period (2-3 months after hire).
Key Responsibilities:
Manage assigned customers (domestic and international) to ensure error-free order processing.
Receive, validate, and enter customer orders into Optical Fiber's PeopleSoft (PS) and SAP systems.
Create and maintain templates for shipments, ensuring logistics and customs compliance.
Approve invoices, credits, and rebates, and ensure accurate documentation for third-party vendors.
Track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and address any issues that arise.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, FDD, and product information within 24 hours.
Collaborate with various internal departments (e.g., Shipping, QA, Finance) to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations.
Develop strong product knowledge to assist with customer inquiries and recommend appropriate solutions.
Assist the sales team with reports and analysis as needed.
Participate in project work and contribute to business teams as required.
Required Skills:
2+ years of experience in customer service within a corporate environment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, SharePoint).
Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Optical Fiber's PeopleSoft and SAP order management systems.
Proficient in Excel.
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
Education & Experience:
Minimum of an Associate degree.
2+ years of relevant experience in customer service or related fields.
Additional Information:
