Job Title: HCM Procurement Lead
Location: 100% REMOTE
Type: W2 Contract
Length: 2+ years
Strategic Procurement Management:
Lead end-to-end procurement processes for HCM technology, including market analysis, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiation.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with project goals and organizational procurement policies.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements in all procurement activities.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a key liaison between procurement, HR, IT, and legal teams to ensure alignment and clarity in project requirements.
Communicate effectively with senior executives and project sponsors to provide updates and resolve escalations.
Build and manage relationships with potential and selected vendors.
Risk and Compliance:
Identify potential risks in the sourcing process and recommend mitigation strategies.
Manage supplier performance to meet contractual obligations, service levels, and KPIs.
Ensure adherence to data privacy and security standards, especially those related to HCM systems.
Project Delivery:
Provide expert procurement support to meet tight timelines and complex project deliverables.
Create detailed documentation, including RFPs, procurement plans, and decision matrices.
Monitor budget adherence and cost optimization opportunities.
Requirements:
10+ years in procurement, with at least 5 years managing sourcing for HCM, HR, or ERP systems.
Proven track record in managing large-scale, complex procurement projects, ideally in multinational or matrixed organizations.
Technical Skills:
Deep knowledge of HCM software vendors (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
Expertise in contract law, negotiation strategies, and vendor management best practices.
Proficiency in procurement tools and software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa).
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Collaborative approach to working with diverse, cross-functional teams.
Deliverables:
Detailed sourcing strategy and vendor shortlist.
Comprehensive RFP/RFI process for HCM solutions.
Successfully negotiated contracts and agreements.
Periodic progress reports and final project assessment.
