Manage the Reliability and Rail product offerings for the OilSafe, Air Sentry and Rail divisions of CSWI Specialized Reliability Solutions, along with other manufactured solutions needed to support the business. This position includes the design, development, sourcing, and fabrication of products and solutions for the business. The position includes working with the Commercial Team to ensure the product implementation on a global basis, as well as ensuring the pricing and product data is managed in the system accurately to align with profit margin targets. This position will also be responsible for technical information communicated to customers.
Position Purpose:

This position includes the design, development, sourcing, and fabrication of products and solutions for the business. The position includes working with the Commercial Team to ensure the product implementation on a global basis, as well as ensuring the pricing and product data is managed in the system accurately to align with profit margin targets. This position will also be responsible for technical information communicated to customers.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the product line life cycle from launch until phase out. Oversee the product matrix and any changes to materials available for sale. Work with the Compliance Department to ensure products are sold in accordance with current requirements (NSF, CE, UL, etc) and our business guidelines and policies.
Develop and implement product road maps to guide development efforts. Work with the Commercial Team to conduct market research supported by visits to customers for new products and opportunities. Review current products and reduce complexity in the product offering and simplify the business. Support the integration of any acquired product lines and M&A activity.
Conduct product line reviews to assess profitability and opportunities for development and consolidation. Align and execute our product plans with sales. Maintain contact with current vendors to ensure they are capable of meeting production requirements.
Conduct specification reviews to understand if our products are being made within tolerances, if the customer specifications are complete, and if the tests being conducted internally are sufficient to support our technical representations in the market.
Validate and publish technical information including product TDS, product guides, product warranties, and similar documents to ensure safe and effective use of our materials.
Provide technical support for sales and customer inquiries related to OilSafe, Air Sentry and Rail products. Resolve any performance issues in the field
Manage product label design work with Marketing to set up in Compliance System.
Develop and implement a structured make vs. buy program in conjunction with Supply Chain for current and new products.
Participate in customer and industry trade associations and attend relevant events (i.e. Trade shows, etc)
Support OEM specification and qualification efforts.
Engage with the commercial team and our Private Label customers for any products produced for sale through the Private Label program.
Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
Identify and assesses in-market and adjacent space opportunities.
Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or related field preferred and/or at least 5 years of equivalent work experience.
At least 5 years' experience in reliability products or related field preferred
