Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) will lead all aspects of the company's operational activities to ensure that Coastal Source is recognized as best-in-class for customer support and service. The COO will be responsible for managing the supply chain, warehouse operations, technical support, production, customer service, IT, product management, HR, and accounting functions.

Key Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administrations, engineering, or operations management or related field.
MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
P&L experience: 5+ years w/MBA or 10+ years w/ Bachelor's
15+ years' experience in production, operations, warehouse, and/or supply chain (with 5+ years' experience managing production and warehouse operations).
10+ years' experience managing people
Deep experience with 5S and LEAN processes and systems.
Expert with product-based business systems - ERP/MRP/BOMs.

Responsibilities
Provides day-to-day leadership and management to the business, always representing the company's mission and core values to internal and external stakeholders.
Responsible for the company's budget, costs, quality, production, profitability, infrastructure, people, culture, etc. Continually monitors and evaluates the progress and success of the company against key performance metrics.
Meets with CEO and Chairman, Board, and other members of ownership to assess the direction of the company, develop and present company short and long-term strategies, and ensure the company's compliance with the stated mission.
Develops and executes a strategy designed to scale the business; sets objectives and goals for each of the company's departments and clearly communicates expectations.
Coordinates the development of key performance metrics and goals for the company, its business functions/departments, and direct reports.
Provides direct guidance and management of key department leaders to ensure they understand and are meeting established KPIs.
Identifies areas in need of organizational improvement, with solutions and an implementation plan.
Ensures the company's overall delivery and quality of Coastal Source products and services to its clients within the agreed upon scope of the work, within budget, and team timelines.
Develops strong working relationships with colleagues across departments and seniority levels.
Evaluates and makes recommendations to ownership on the investment of key talent, resources and equipment, and infrastructure.
Reports company information, including key results, to the CEO, Board, and Ownership as requested.
Communicates strategy and expected results to Coastal Source staff.
Engages with Key Staff, Ownership, and Board in the strategic planning process.
Ensures an engaging work environment for team members to be excited to perform their duties every day.
