We are seeking a skilled Production Assurance and Development Engineer responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of our applications through effective incident management, maintenance activities, and development processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

The Role
Responsibilities:
Production Assurance and Maintenance Activities:
Perform L2 and L3 support activities, including incident management and real-time communication to resolve issues swiftly.
Provide support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and oversee deployment processes.
Conduct application maintenance tasks, including:
Code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
Disaster Recovery Planning and support to ensure business continuity.
Business Continuity Planning and support, ensuring minimal disruption during unforeseen events.
Maintain comprehensive application documentation for reference and compliance.
Manage release activities to facilitate smooth application updates and improvements.
Implement configuration management practices to maintain application integrity.
Review Business Requirements Documents (BRD) to ensure clarity and alignment with project goals.
Conduct impact analysis and high-level estimations for new features or changes.
Engage in architecture and database modeling to create efficient and scalable designs.
Develop high-level and low-level designs for new application features.
Oversee the build process, including code reviews and generating static performance reports.
Support User Acceptance Testing, ensuring that applications meet business needs and user expectations.
Assist in performance testing to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
Provide implementation support and post-implementation assistance to ensure successful deployment.
Maintain configuration management protocols to track application changes.
Document processes, findings, and reports to maintain transparency and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements:
You are:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience in application support, production assurance, and development activities.
Experience with Visionplus.
Strong knowledge of incident management processes and tools.
Proficiency in coding and application development practices.
Experience with database modeling and architecture design.
Familiarity with performance testing tools and methodologies.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
It would be great if you also had:
Certifications in ITIL, Agile, or relevant methodologies.
Experience with [specific programming languages, tools, or technologies relevant to your organization].
Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
