The Assistant Project Manager will assist the Project Manager in the successful delivery of a high-end, 9-story condominium project in Pompano Beach. This role requires close collaboration with the construction team, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating all phases of the project.
Assist in preparing contracts, processing submittals, RFIs, and maintaining project documentation.
Monitor project timelines and budgets, reporting potential delays or issues.
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure work aligns with project plans, specifications, and local codes.
Help manage permitting processes, inspections, and compliance with Pompano Beach building regulations.
Track progress against milestones and assist with creating updates for stakeholders and clients.
Enforce adherence to safety standards and job site cleanliness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (preferred).
2-4 years of experience in residential or mid-rise construction projects.
Familiarity with Florida building codes, permitting, and inspection processes.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
