Power Apps Developer

Houston, Texas (Hybrid)

Contract-to-Hire

Summary

Our Fortune 200 Environment Services client located in Downtown Houston is looking for a PowerApps Developer to join their Collection Operations team. You will be a key player in designing and developing new applications and automations as well as extending and supporting existing solutions using Power Apps. This position is extremely visible within the organization as you will be supporting core functions across the entire business and you will have the opportunity to build, enhance, and support Power App solutions for multiple areas of the business, requiring a broad degree of independence, knowledge, and critical thinking skills.

Core Responsibilities
• Ensures all projects and data developed is value-adding and provides actionable insights.
• Build new data tables and adjust existing tables.
• Ability to find a way to be able to look at data to see how it will change reporting.
• Strong experience and understanding of Microsoft Power Platform
• Strong experience with DB and Data modeling
• Experience with other low code business driven modeling systems like PowerApps - Nintex,

AppSheet, Salesforce Platform will be considered as an advantage
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps model-driven UI
• Knowledge and experience in Scrum methodology
• Development practices: code review, coding standards, continuous integration, pair

programming
• Ability to understand a business problem and work through various legacy systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with internal business members
• Ensure appropriate level of statistical significance in insights, help educate and hold

stakeholders and team accountable in their design and interpretation of analyses.
• Proactively identify, prioritize, and conduct analysis that drives meaningful change on KPIs,

and critical objectives established by the stakeholder.
• Ensures all requests are logged for data, reporting, and analysis.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Present to senior leadership, working with this team as a partner and providing actionable

insights and recommendations.
• Interfaces with data architecture team and troubleshoots complex data issues.
• Working and joining together large, disparate data sets to uncover actionable insights.
• Be a hands-on analytical business partner who enjoys rolling up their sleeves to solve

complex business questions through data

variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent

Field of Study: Information Sciences, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics

Years' Experience: Generally, requires 3-5 years related experience.
