We are looking for an experienced Oracle Security Consultant to help a university with a comprehensive security review and assessment for their Oracle Cloud Finance and HR systems. This role requires a deep dive into roles and permissions, focusing on the segregation of duties (SoD) to ensure compliance and best practices in managing access and user lifecycle processes. The consultant will provide actionable recommendations, implement improvements, and estimate high-level project timelines.
Responsibilities:
Conduct a security review and assessment of Oracle Cloud Finance and HR systems, focusing on roles and permissions.
Perform a deep dive into role structures to identify and resolve segregation of duties (SoD) conflicts.
Provide recommendations for optimizing role-based access control, permissions management, and user lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, and rights management).
Suggest best practices for mitigating SoD risks and improving security posture.
Develop an action plan to address identified security gaps and implement improvements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to estimate project timelines and deliverables.
Deliver high-level guidance on implementing Oracle Cloud security best practices.
Requirements:
Proven expertise in Oracle Cloud Security, specifically in Finance and HR modules.
Strong understanding of segregation of duties (SoD), role-based access control, and user permissions in Oracle Cloud Fusion.
Experience conducting detailed security assessments and providing actionable recommendations.
Ability to analyze complex role structures and resolve SoD conflicts effectively.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with university stakeholders.
