Responsibilities

At Sklar Furnishings, we're not just filling a position - we're empowering a visionary to shape our future. As our Junior Designer, you'll be the catalyst for growth, innovation, and excellence in our luxury home furnishings business.
• Assist our Vice President of Design with specialized client projects, including space

planning, material selection, and furniture specifications
• Conduct in-home consultations for on-site surveying
• Create mood boards, material palettes, and design concept presentations
• Develop/transfer on-site survey to AutoCAD
• Develop drawings for space planning/furniture layout presentation
• Develop 3D models for interior design proposal
• Develop technical drawings for custom designs
• Prepare a digital project proposal presentation to the client
• Play an active role on the team presenting projects in person at Sklar Studio

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Software (SketchUp/Rhinoceros/other), and Adobe Photoshop
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities

Technical Skills
• AutoCAD
• 3D Software: SketchUp/Rhinoceros/other
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop)
• Microsoft Office Suite
