The primary responsibility of the Visual Coordinator is to work closely with the Creative Director and store employees to implement, maintain, enforce, and monitor the store visual standards. The visual coordinator will be responsible for assisting in creating visuals that showcase our products and create a visually stimulating experience for our customers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Produces quality work in a timely, consistent and organized manner.
Executes visual standards according to company directives.
Walks sales floor throughout the day to ensure the highest merchandising standards.
Present latest fashion trends in visually stimulating and creative manner.
Updates store visual windows, mannequins, wall and fixture displays as needed.
Ensures new merchandise is effectively and timely blended with existing merchandise.
Completes routine visual updates as directed by management.
Participates in floor moves and event set-ups.
Assists in special store events as required (on-site & off-site).
Inventory management, ensures visual supply and merchandise back stock are organized; continuous replenishment of back stock, etc.
Maintains professional and supportive relationship with fellow team members.
Assists with go-backs as needed.
Responds promptly to company email correspondence.
Assists with recurring physical inventory.
Maintains a professional personal appearance.
Additional responsibilities may be added as the needs of the business evolve.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of visual and fashion merchandising experience.
Luxury retail experience preferred.
Mannequin styling experience required.
Window presentation experience required.
Sense of urgency, self-starter and motivated attitude.
High level of attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Must exhibit strong customer service skills, professionalism, courtesy and friendly demeanor.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule for a retail business, including nights, weekends, holidays, store events, etc.
Physical Demands:
Speaking/Hearing: Ability to communicate information to customers, employees, etc.
Standing: Remain upright on feet for sustained periods of time.
Walking: Ability to move throughout the store.
Flexibility including bending, stretching and lifting.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, ability to move/carry product.
Visual acuity to perform an activity such as viewing a computer terminal.
Use of hands and fingers to handle or feel.
Education:
High School education or equivalent.
