Position Summary Department Business Strategy & Insights The VP of Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) has a proven track record of leading largescale transformational projects, including leading Merger & Acquisition integrations and large technology conversions. They partner across the organization to plan and execute strategic projects which are aligned to the Strategic Plan of the Credit Union. This position is also responsible for leaning into agile methodology for our larger initiatives and when leading quarterly planning process with senior executives to review and vet new initiatives, partnering with a cross functional group of SMEs, Enterprise Architecture, and Finance. This individual will also develop a method measure organizational capacity to take on new projects and prioritize delivery across the enterprise. This leader is responsible for managing a team of 3 project managers and managing a budget for this team.

Essential Duties • ePMO Leadership • Develops and implements project management practices, processes, methodologies, and metrics. Defines projects, identifies expected outcomes, establishes timelines, and assigns project staff. Prepares reports detailing project status and communicates updates to project stakeholders. Ensures projects are completed on time and within established quality standards. • Leads any merger and acquisition program and all related workstreams ensuring a plan is built, timelines are set, proper reporting is established and change management across the organization is instituted. This would include a people, process, and technology related work streams for any merger or acquisition. • Leads the effort to deploy agile methodology where appropriate whether in project execution or in planning. Partner with our IT function to leverage agile tools including Jira for task management and backlog grooming. • Directs operations to align with the organization's strategic goals. Coordinates with other members of senior management to develop policies and initiatives that align with all departments. Conducts research for business development opportunities and coordinates work plans to achieve growth. Follows through with compliance measures and establishes procedures to improve organizational effectiveness. • Manages the overall Enterprise Project Management Office program / project portfolio, ensuring efforts are aligned to Valley Strong's Strategic Objectives. • Maintains the department's budget, forecast and vendor burn rates, partnering with Finance to manage the mapping of project expenses to the correct approved projects. • Manages the business case development modeling with executive sponsors to ensure that all business cases presented to Prioritization Committee meet the relevant requirements and are held to the same rigor and standards. Ensures the initiatives are presented with the right longer term success measures for evaluation of both financial and operational outcomes. Drives cross-functional planning and effective execution through development and monitoring of program and project specific timelines and budgets. • Develop a standard approach for capacity planning for the organization considering both people and skills needed for project success. Creation and maintain the necessary staffing plans that fill the needed capacity for current and future work demands through internal and/or external resources. • Owns the development and socialization of program level roadmaps and development of project plans to ensure stakeholder buy-in, regulatory/legal compliance and fit with technology and security requirements. • Develops the Enterprise Project Management Office through assessing staffing and skill requirements, establishing individual development plans, setting goals and expectations with team members, mentoring, and giving feedback on performance. • Stakeholder Management & Communication • Cultivates relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordination on programs / projects as well as measurable outcomes through key performance indicators (KPIs). • Manages change effectively, with appropriate level of transparency via reporting and other forms of communication, such as monthly project management updates. • Ensures appropriate project hand-off and closure occurs, including holding lessons learned sessions and leveraging learnings to improve team and project practices. • Owns the directs the creation and support of central project status, documentation, and archive facilities. Presents information on project initiatives or other subjects to peers, teams and executive leadership. • Program Change Control, Risk, Issue and Decision Management • Demonstrates the ability to adapt and lead change and coach others through the process. Lead team discussions on project strategies, planning through the planning cycle and adding the necessary sense of urgency and/or escalation to move projects forward • Ensure relevant documentation of Risks, Issues and Decisions are tracked and shared with the appropriate level of management. • Manage a change control process that balances the need for adjustments to accommodate project success, as measured through outcomes based KPIs while balancing the need to keep projects on budget and on time. • Strong decision-making capabilities to know when and how to escalate, push-back and enable creative innovation in the project delivery process. • Serves as the center of excellence for best practices and processes in project management discipline. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education Min/Preferred Education Level Description Minimum 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree Advanced Degree Preferred Experience Minimum Years of Experience Comments 10 In project Management, with at least 5 years of large-scale project experience required (i.e M&A, Conversions etc.) 5 plus years of leadership experience managing a team of Senior and Junior Project Managers Financial services experience required. Agile/Scrum/PMP certification preferred. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to Members and other Team Members at the organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute dividends and interest. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
