Franchise Business Manager Overview
We are currently seeking a dynamic and talented Franchise Business Manager (FBM) to join our Franchise Services team. In this role, you will support the ongoing expansion of our network and the growth of our brand by strengthening the franchise services infrastructure and providing hands-on daily support to franchisees. Your contributions will be pivotal in ensuring the continued success of JETSET Pilates as we navigate the exciting landscape of the fitness and franchise industry.
This position's role includes deep understanding end-to-end studio opening procedures and ongoing studio operations. This role supports the initial training for new franchisees during the construction period and ongoing support and consultation with franchisees to cement business relations after opening. This role will facilitate communication, resources, and operational requirements between the Franchisee and Franchisor.
The FBM's role is to provide the direction that establishes, maintains, and refines this business model and systems that enable the growth and unit economics that are the foundation for franchisee success. Equally important is providing the leadership that builds trust between the franchisee and franchisor. The FBM needs to be committed to two-way communication. The Franchise Service team should lead by example in what they do and what they say, demonstrating to those who work with them-and for the franchisees-the company's values.
The FBM reports to the VP of Support & Services, and the role provides leadership and support to regional studios and ensures best practices for maximized business results.
External Facing Responsibilities:
New Franchisee Onboarding
Lead new studios' onboarding, orientation, and pre-opening phase in the specified region.
Collaborate closely with the Services, Product/Talent, and Construction departments on the new Franchisee build-out and onboarding process, including the initial training and ongoing blueprint support program.
Attend new studio soft openings for general support, sales drives, and to enhance morale and boost excitement.
Ensure studios ramp effectively during the pre-sales period, helping to guide local marketing strategy and sales tactics to exceed pre-sales goals.
Upholding franchisee and franchisor obligations as set out in the Brand Standards Guide, ensuring both parties fulfill their contractual responsibilities.
Training and support to franchisees on all details of how to own and operate a JETSET studio including the company's operational, sales, POS, and other technology systems and marketing procedures to ensure consistency across locations.
Ongoing Franchisee Support
Implementation and management of the Blueprint Support Program, which includes franchisee induction and training after the studio's Grand Opening
Providing hands-on operational support and guidance to regional studios, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
Provide strategic support to studios to ensure consistent revenue growth and management, helping to guide initiatives to improve studio sales, client retention, NPS, or other metrics when necessary.
Organizing and conducting both scheduled and unscheduled site visits to franchise locations to ensure compliance with operational standards and to provide personalized support and feedback to franchisees.
Managing secret shopper campaigns to assess and enhance the customer experience at franchise locations, providing detailed feedback and actionable recommendations to franchisees based on the findings.
Serving as a direct liaison between franchisees and the head office, facilitating efficient communication and problem resolution.
Planning and executing a comprehensive relationship management strategy and communication plans to strengthen ties between the franchisor and franchisees.
Driving best practices across assigned franchise locations to promote efficiency and effectiveness in operations.
Instilling JETSET's culture and value system at the studio level, fostering a positive working environment for employees and franchisees.
Coaching, consultation, and mentorship are provided to franchisees as required, supporting their professional growth and development.
Local Marketing & Sales Support
Offering local marketing support in alignment with brand guidelines, helping franchisees maintain a consistent brand image.
Facilitating local market and competitor research and developing the local marketing strategy that effectively communicates the brand's values and unique selling propositions to the target audience and key brand partners in each market.
Setting sales goals, monitoring and evaluating franchisee performance, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement to optimize business outcomes

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be East-coast based
This role will need to be within reasonable proximity to Miami or South Florida.
Travel to Miami will be required when attending Franchise Discovery Days, HQ meetings, and new studio openings.
