This executive-level position requires experience in the day-to-day management of a significant portion of a business or organization. It requires the ability to plan and oversee the work of mid and lower- level managers, and employees, including vehicle accounting, DMV processing and operations. This executive requires strong operational and leadership skills.
Job Duties:
Monitors Performance of the Remarketing Department's Sales Team
Stays closely aware of dealership needs and client experiences
Identifies areas of improvement and recommends changes in policy or procedure when necessary to improve efficiency and profitability
Oversees Sales Team
Manages performance
Holds Sales Team accountable for following process and performance
Develops Sales Management and Salespeople
Gathers Sales Team feedback and makes recommendations based on Sales Team needs
Requests and reviews reports and other documents produced by Sales Team members to ensure accuracy
Strategizes, creates, and oversees implementation of short and long-term plans, projects and campaigns
Establishes and communicates goals with Sales Managers and Salespeople that support the company's overall initiatives including:
Defining work and procedures
Overseeing the work of Sales Managers, providing feedback, and taking corrective action as needed
Builds cohesive synergy between the sales and operations teams and provides an environment that enables performance
Participates in strategic planning sessions with other management to identify goals and objectives for the organization
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 10+ years relevant work experience
B.A. required, MBA or comparable executive experience desired
Knowledge of the trucking industry preferred
Sales management experience required

Compensation:
$125,000 - $140,000 depending on skills and experience
