PKL Services Inc. is contracted to maintain and operate Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) F-15SG and United States Air Force (USAF) F-15E aircraft and equipment assigned to the 366th Fighter Wing located at Mountain Home AFB (MHAFB), Idaho. PKL employees at this site are subject to a Union/Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) regarding employment terms and work rules.

The Support Technician will maintain the support section (composite tool kits, CTKs/special tools, E-Tools, test equipment), HAZMAT/WASTE, mobility equipment and supply support functions to support the production effort.

Other key responsibilities include:
Standardize 428 FS procedures with other Fighter Squadrons for security, control, and equipment accountability using Top Asset & Inventory Management Software (TC Max) or similar system IAW DAFI 21-101.
Operate and maintain a CTK program IAW DAFI 21-101. This includes periodic maintenance and corrosion control on CTK items and documentation in TCMax or similar system.
Ensure maintenance, control and storage of assigned Maintenance, Safety, and Protective Equipment (MSPE) IAW DAFI 21-103.
Input data into the logistics module (LOGMOD).
Assist with coordination of transportation, palletize tools and equipment, operate forklifts, stage pallets, and load pallets onto trucks.
Control and maintain Test, Measurement, & Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) IAW T.O. 33-1-27 and comply with T.O. 33K-1-100 and T.O. 00-20-14 for the use, care, handling, transportation, and calibration of TMDE owned by the section.
Manage AMU Land Mobile Radios (LMR) IAW local procedures.
Responsible for handling, maintaining, and controlling hazardous material, waste, and Initial Accumulation Points (IAPs) IAW AFI 32-7001, Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 90-8, MHAFB HAZWASTE Accumulation Point (AP) Manager Handbook.
Verify HAZMAT labeling, expiration dates, container serviceability and required safety precautions prior to use.
Any and all other duties as directed by the Program Manager/Site Manager.

About you

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Minimum six (6) years previous experience in any aircraft maintenance AFSC.
Prior Support section experience highly desirable.
Must be able to obtain and retain a Secret security clearance.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
Primarily in an office and hangar area environment. May require frequent bending, reaching, and climbing.
May frequently lift and carry items weighing up to fifty pounds and occasionally lift heavier items with the assistance of other workers.
Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate although it could be loud if near the aircraft parking apron. May be exposed to moderate discomforts, such as heat, cold and wind.
May be required to wear personal protective equipment when in or passing thru a hazardous area.
