Summary: Join Tyson Foods' IT team in revolutionizing our company with cutting-edge technology. As the IT liaison for sales enablement and operations, you will drive the technology strategy and implementation for the Tyson Salesforce instance (e.g., Salesforce Sales Cloud, CG Cloud, etc). This role demands strong collaboration with stakeholders across business units to identify and frame business opportunities and risks, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and technology capabilities. You will play a pivotal role in project delivery and process optimization, utilizing agile methodologies (e.g., JIRA) to elicit, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements. Additionally, you will develop and execute test plans, maintain awareness of best practices, and mentor junior analysts. This position is crucial in supporting the implementation of solutions within established service level agreements, ensuring key performance indicators are met.
Responsibilities:
Partner with stakeholders across marketing, sales, and finance to identify business use cases and define requirements that align with strategic objectives.
Develop strong business relationships, understanding related processes and systems to drive effective solutions.
Document detailed business and functional specifications, utilizing both waterfall and agile methodologies to support development teams.
Participate in project delivery, configuring software packages (e.g., JIRA, Clarity PPM) and developing test plans and cases.
Stay current with technology trends, identifying opportunities to enhance functionality and improve project delivery.
Analyze technology proposals, develop alternative implementation plans, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Manage multiple engagements simultaneously, maintaining accountability and engagement levels.
Utilize and recommend tools that optimize solution delivery and customer satisfaction.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts, elevating team capabilities.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, or information management.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Information Systems or related area, with exposure to technology-based project work.
Functional knowledge of Salesforce and related technologies in sales reporting, CRM, and eCommerce performance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and agile management software (e.g., JIRA).
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information effectively across various audiences.
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks based on strategic initiatives.
Experience in business process modeling and technical writing preferred.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and AI/ML models beneficial.
