Job Description:

Hilton Orlando is looking for an Overnight General Service Engineer to join their Property Operations Team! This 1400+ room property offers six dining outlets and seamlessly blends extensive leisure offerings with world class business amenities.

In this role, the focus will mainly be on guests' requests and our ideal candidate will possess general mechanic skills, ideally has worked in hospitality industry, has a friendly/outgoing approach, a great approach to teamwork and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Shift Pattern: Overnight shifts, as early as 10PM or midnight, weekends and holidays, as needed.

Pay Rate: $21.84 per hour, + $1.00 per hour overnight differential.

What will I be doing?

As an overnight mechanic, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotel's equipment and machinery in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Maintain, monitor, repair and conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of hotel equipment and machinery
• Conduct scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance
• Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment
• Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention
