Distribution Specialist (On-site) at Insulet in Acton, Massachusetts

Job Description:

Position Overview:
Ensuring the security, tracking and accountability of materials and goods required for inventory control. As well as ensuring shipment transactions are promptly entered into Microsoft Dynamics/AX in accordance with applicable standard operating procedures and following through on all material movements in order to guarantee they are handled in accordance with applicable FDA and cGMP procedures.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate corrections of shipment errors through Customer Service.
• Order Processing.
• Pull and pack materials.
• Check all orders to ensure accuracy.
• Communicate with freight carriers regarding daily bills of lading.
• Prepare shipping documents if necessary.
• Perform general duties including FedEx processing, cycle counts, housekeeping, stocking, safety and maintenance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education and Experience:
Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:
• Minimum 1 year experience in Distribution, Receiving, or Manufacturing Support environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/AX Software preferred but not required.
• Proficient in business environment software applications - MS Office.
• Must be extremely service, internal customer, and detail-oriented.
• Must be able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Must have excellent attendance.
• The ideal candidate is highly motivated, is a proactive problem solver, self-starter that can work both independently and in a team environment with minimal.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift and transfer up to 30 lbs.
• Know how to operate a pallet jack.

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $21.01 - $31.61. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
