We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Reality Capture Technician to join our team. This role will be responsible for capturing and processing 360-degree photos and videos, performing LiDAR scanning, and integrating reality capture data with BIM coordination models. The ideal candidate will also assist with managing our enterprise agreements for reality capture software platforms, ensuring smooth operations across projects.

Responsibilities
Capture 360-degree photos and videos of construction sites to document project progress and key milestones.
Perform LiDAR scanning on job sites to collect accurate 3D data for use in project coordination.
Integrate reality capture data with BIM (Building Information Modeling) models to support project coordination, clash detection, and design validation.
Work closely with project teams to ensure reality capture data aligns with project schedules and requirements.
Assist in managing enterprise agreements for reality capture software platforms, including licensing, updates, and software support.
Collaborate with internal teams to support the use of reality capture technology in project delivery and quality control efforts.
Maintain organized records of all site capture activities, including equipment maintenance and data storage.
Ensure accuracy and high-quality deliverables by regularly reviewing captured data and making necessary adjustments.
Qualifications
Experience with reality capture tools (e.g., Matterport, Leica BLK360, Trimble X7, or equivalent).
Proficiency in LiDAR scanning and processing LiDAR data.
Familiarity with BIM coordination platforms such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or similar software.
Experience managing software licenses and agreements for reality capture platforms is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on job sites.
Knowledge of construction processes and project coordination workflows is preferred.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with project teams and other stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the construction or engineering industry.
Working knowledge of Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar collaboration platforms.
Understanding of 3D modeling, scan-to-BIM processes, and digital twin integration.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred but not required
Highly adaptable and able to work efficiently and effectively on multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Takes pride in their work and understands budgets and expectations
Ability to assess processes, evaluate solutions, and problem-solving
Must be physically able to work outdoors and on construction sites
Responsible and punctual; must have driver’s license and access to a car.
