Job Description Collaborate with System and entity stakeholders to implement digital strategy and enhance the quality of the consumer experience across University of Maryland Medical System's web properties. Direct report to the Web Project Manager.

Make System and entity website updates, ensuring content is user-friendly and adheres to Associated Press (AP) Style guidelines, search engine optimization best practices and UMMS brand standards.
Refine website content, proactively reaching out to marketing colleagues, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders for input and collaboration.
Write, edit, proof and fact-check all content prior to publishing it to the website.
Manage content review calendars to ensure web content is reviewed and updated on a scheduled basis.
Perform quality control, addressing broken links, misspellings, accessibility issues, and other issues.
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with all levels of leadership, staff and vendors.
Stay abreast of digital health trends, technology, and best practices
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Education & Experience - Required
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Minimum two years' experience writing and editing digital content.
Education & Experience - Preferred
Experience with Sitecore and HTML.
Additional Information Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Search Engine Optimization content techniques and keyword search.
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and platforms.
