Wayne J. As we continue to expand our MIS team, we are seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Developer to build and innovate our SharePoint-based applications and platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end development within the SharePoint environment, aimed at delivering seamless, scalable, and effective business solutions across the company.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality web solutions within the SharePoint environment.
Implement custom SharePoint web parts and integrations using SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
Develop and customize SharePoint applications that feature optimized front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
Design and Build APIs for integration with other business applications.
Utilize PowerShell scripts and SharePoint PnP to manage site configurations and automate administrative tasks.
Handle the full lifecycle of software development, from requirements analysis and system design to development, deployment, and maintenance.
Maintain documentation pertaining to software design and user experience
Ensure compliance with security regulations and data protection guidelines.
The ideal candidate enjoys a team-based environment and will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. Proven experience as a SharePoint Developer with a strong understanding of SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2016/2019, and Office 365 are required. Strong front-end development skills, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue) are a must. Familiarity with SQL, SPFx, REST APIs and PowerShell are strongly preferred.
