The ideal candidate will be proficient in low-level programming, microcontroller/microprocessor architecture, and hardware-software integration. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality embedded solutions. Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain testable embedded systems software for robotic devices in concept and in production.Work on low-level programming for microcontrollers/microprocessorsDesign, implement, and optimize real-time operating systems.Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure smooth hardware-software integration.Debug and troubleshoot embedded systems, resolving issues in a timely manner.Create and maintain technical documentation for embedded systems.Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practicesReview and manage custom PCB development and requirementsIdentify and implement solutions to support various compliance requirements such as Functional Safety for UL certificationIdentify and recommend hardware components required to deliver a great customer experienceQualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Proven experience in embedded systems development, including C/C++ programming.Strong understanding of microcontroller/microprocessor architectures and embedded hardware.Proficiency in real-time/near real-time operating systems and device drivers.Knowledge of wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi).Experience with developing circuit board schematics and component selectionExperience implementing displays and highspeed communicationexperience with AC and DC systemsexperience implementing control loops and feedback systemsFamiliarity with debugging tools and protocols.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Familiarity with implementing GUI solutions for end-user interactionsKnowledge regarding various sensors and their limitationsFamiliarity with implementing and maintaining testing frameworks for new and existing codeFamiliarity with implementing IoT solutions
