A Project Engineer is a key technical contributor to the New Product Development team and is uniquely positioned to identify, lead, and drive the engineering direction of industrial generators. Working in highly cross-functional teams, you will engineer and validate parts, assemblies, and systems that delight consumers. The Details
Handles responsibilities and performs projects and tasks for technical assignments of broad scope and complexity under general direction of the NPD Manager and Platform
Leader and the support of other cross-functional team members
Assumes a moderate to high level of autonomy in decision-making and day-to-day activities
Documents, verifies, and validates product specifications: customer, regulatory, and technical requirements
Assures functional acceptability through application of engineering tools, analysis, and testing
Documents and shares knowledge within and outside the NPD team
Provide technical direction to CAD Design Analysts
Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline internal business processes and support system upgrades
This is a hybrid role, primarily on-site, but also providing remote work opportunities as agreed to with NPD manager

BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET - accredited institution
3+ years of experience working in an engineering field, preferably in product development
A composite of education, career experience, and technical achievement will be considered.

The salary range for this position is $83300 - $105200. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
