CWR is a growing road construction company. We are currently seeking an experienced Party Chief for our local operations.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for coordinating the activity, effective performance, training, and safety of all members of a field survey party
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of survey computations, types of surveys and field operations in construction site / heavy civil layout
Supervises all survey crew members performing construction stakeout, and surveys including topographic, boundary and utility
Prepare topographic and contour maps of land surveyed
Maintain quality of all measurements
Record all required data collected and calculations made and review for correctness
Maintain equipment and vehicles used by surveying crews
Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in heavy civil construction surveying and FDOT stake out experience required
Trimble machine control experience and GPS layout knowledge is a plus
General knowledge and understanding of ALTA standards
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must be able to meet company MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver's license
