TIELLO has partnered with a highly successful General Contractor in the Oklahoma City, OK area on their search for a Project Manager to work on a variety of Commercial Office, Life Science, and Healthcare new construction/TI projects. Getting ready for the project start date within the next month.
The Project Manager will be the company representative and will serve as the company's point of contact both with the client and with the construction team when required. You will engage in and influence the safety culture and have the authority to make decisions on the General Contractor's behalf about such items as cost and schedule.
Project Types: Healthcare, Clean Room, Commercial, Office, Healthcare, and Light Industrial New Construction and Tenant Improvements ($10M+)
Job Title: Project Manager (5+ Years)
Duties & Responsibilities:
Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases
Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery
Oversee & Manage the project schedules and budgets
Oversee, Develop and Maintain a good relationship with Owner, Architect, and Subcontractors
Provide the client with value-engineered solutions when applicable
Work with Superintendent to develop safety plans and to implement safety procedures
Manage project deliverables
Oversee and mentor the project staff to foster a positive team setting
Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of Commercial Light Industrial, Healthcare, Clean Room, Life Science, Office, New Construction and Tenant Improvements
Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and design consultants.
Procore experience required
BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred.
