Position leads multiple cross-functional project teams consisting of matrixed or direct reporting relationships to meet or exceed Transmission and Substation safety, reliability, financial, and schedule goals while ensuring compliance with all environmental and regulatory requirements for assigned company projects. Generate product schedules based on stakeholder input and maintain adherence to them to meet in service dates. Review actual spend compared to forecast spend based on project schedule progress for assigned projects.
Job Functions:
- Coordination with project engineering, construction leads, transmission system planning, as well as other departments throughout the company
- Develop and update project schedules, budget forecasts, and cash flows - Lead meetings associated with assigned projects
- Update business unit leadership on project status - Assess potential Transmission and Substation projects for feasibility
- Receive coaching from higher level project managers and management
- Communicate project specifications to internal and external personnel at all levels
- Management of multiple complex projects successfully at any given time
- Project sponsor for Total Safety Culture for assigned project teams - Ability to meet attendance and storm duty requirements
