The Manager, Customer Supply Chain - 3rd Party is responsible for managing the requirements of our customers, achieving the specific needs of brands at the shelf, and optimizing finished goods in 3rd party retailer's warehouses & stores. The Customer Supply Chain Manager is seeking to increase supply chain efficiency while delivering on our on-shelf availability goals and maximizing collaboration between retailer operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead customer supply chain activities and day-to-day operations for multiple retailers
Contribute to the achievement of total customer satisfaction by providing high-quality and timely service to all internal and external customers
Work closely with the Account, Brand, and Finance teams to ensure they are informed of significant risks to inventory availability and issues at specific customer
Plan new product innovation, planogram changes and run in / run out at customer
Partner and provide accurate information to the commercial team for on-time product set-up
Key driver in the S&OP process with understanding customer demand and impact on financials - be the supply chain liaison for demand/supply activities
Manage daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly supply/operations reporting both for Customers and internal teams which shows performance and highlights key findings (ability to have micro/macro level analysis)
Manage the delivery of a partner-focused supply plan to support the overall growth strategy
Review, modify, and track necessary customer weekly purchase orders/ fulfillment along with financial reporting. Work with the warehouse point of contact to manage POs from customers
Benchmark our success on agreed-upon key performance indicators (KPIs) driven by partner targets and expectations which may include Weeks forward coverage, % orders shipped complete, OSA, and OOS
Be the expert in your customer supply chain, being able to brief the team on any changes to partner requirements
A bit about you...
5+ years in Supply Chain/Operations management
Strong customer orientation, commercial awareness, ability to keep up with changes in trends and pivot when needed
Knowledge of third-party mass retailers' operations knowledge is preferred
Fundamental understanding of demand planning and forecasting process
Team player and ability to work cross-functionally - leading all supply/operations for the retailers.
Effective interpersonal skills required for interaction with various levels of internal organization and partners
A self-starter with demonstrated results in working with minimal daily supervision
Proven planning, analytical, creative, and problem-solving capabilities
Knowledge of forecasting/ requirements planning/inventory management systems (APICS certification is beneficial)
Excellent attention to detail and extreme accuracy skills
Strong written and oral communication skills, strong listening skills
Excellent spoken & written communication skills
Strong computer and systems skills, Microsoft Office Suite
Must be an advanced user of MS Office Excel
