COGS has partnered with a leading industrial General Contractors as they seek an experienced Safety Professional to join their team
Due to increased market demand for their services and several on going projects, they are in growth mode and expanding! This has led to increased opportunities for career trajectory and hence they are looking for Environment Health and Safety Coordinator to take ownership of their safety procedures.
This is a full time permanent position based on site in Fargo, ND with salary up to 100K DOE + Company Vehicle + Gas Card + Company Credit Card
Responsibilities:
Oversees Safety program requirements.
Develops tailored onsite safety programs as needed.
Conducts site audits to identify unsafe practices/conditions, provides corrective recommendations or regulation guidance.
Leads or participates in accident investigations.
Handles record keeping and documentation for HAZCOM, training, and reports to owners.
Assists in creating and maintaining hazard analysis documentation.
Administers First Aid, CPR, and AED as necessary.
Keeps up-to-date with safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree is a must
At least 5 year of experience within the construction industry
CHST, GSP Preferred
