JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop high quality software - readable, maintainable and efficient.
Collaborate with the stakeholders.
Active involvement in all scrum ceremonies.
Translate business requirements into the design and implementation of features and functionality required to deliver the required results.
Provide testing support to QA during functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
The role requires excellent troubleshooting skills, a mastery of dependency management, i18n, PL/SQL, performance tuning, and risk management.
Assist project leadership in creating estimations of work for client projects, participating in interviews, and determining the project software development schedule.
Active participation in code reviews and ability to critique the code based on patterns, time complexity and risks.
Perform unit and integration testing in a deployment environment to verify the delivered implementation meets the given requirements.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Requires Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other directly related field of study, plus the following experience:
5 years of combined experience in Java and J2EE development.
5 years of experience in each of the following databases:
Oracle;
SQL; and
JDBC
5 years of combined experience to include the following languages:
HTML;
Javascript; and
Angular
5 years of experience in each of the following environments:
Eclipse; and
IntelliJ
5 years of combined experience to include each of the following environments:
Weblogic or
Tomcat Technologies/Frameworks.
5 years of combined experience to include each of the following tools:
Git;
Maven; and
Ant
5 years of combined experience to include each of the following:
Spring Framework;
Spring Data/Hibernate/JPA;
Spring Boot;
REST;
Micro Services;
Junit;
Docker;
Redis;
ElasticSearch; and
JMA/Kafka/RabitMQ.
Experience may be gained concurrently.
Work from home available 3 times per week. Must reside within commuting distance from employer's Frisco, TX office.
