Responsibilities
As our Sales Service Tech (CA Extractor) you will report to the Service Tech Supervisor and will be part of our DF&H Fruit & Vegetable team located in Visalia, CA.
On a given day, you may:
Have sole shift responsibility at a single customer site, maintaining JBT's leased or sold equipment as directed by Service lead personnel and Service management.
Complete or help complete records and reports and submit them to the service coordinator promptly.
Order or report parts shortages and maintain or help keep an orderly stockroom.
Deliver L/M parts and equipment to customer plants as directed by service management.
Manage equipment overhaul
Promote a positive business relationship with external and internal customers to keep open productive relationships for the advancement of JBT's service support.
As invited, attend customer's meetings regarding operation of juice room and related equipment.
Requirements for the role
Mechanical background with 2years of field experience and customer interaction.
And partner with customers.
Knowledge to understand drawings, blueprints, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical assembly's
5 years minimum experience in machine assembly, light fabrication, welding, and machine tool operation.
Knowledge of process control systems. (i.e. utility control and measurement, steam water and air).
Valid CA drivers license must be maintained.
This position is considered a safety sensitive position, thus employee may be subjected to randomized drug testing
Travel & Location
You will report onsite to 8250 W. Doe Avenue Visalia, California. We may ask you to travel if needed (often weekends).
