Job Description:

Our Client, a Global Financial Services firm, is seeking an Enterprise PMO in their San Diego, CA location.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Upgrades for Advisors:
  • Lead the coordination and management of platform upgrades, ensuring smooth integration and communication between various teams, including Agile/Scrum Masters. Oversee efforts to consistently enhance the product team and improve platform performance.

Compliance Management:
  • Work closely with compliance teams to ensure all projects and initiatives align with regulatory requirements. Help implement necessary changes as set forth by regulators and ensure the organization remains compliant in all areas.

Optimization Projects:
  • Manage data-driven optimization projects that aim to improve current business processes, particularly in the areas of data management, commissions, and operational efficiency.

Organic Growth through M&A:
  • Play a key role in supporting M&A efforts, ensuring the integration of new acquisitions and helping the business expand its capabilities and services.

Strategic Initiatives:
  • Lead projects focused on launching and expanding the company's product offerings, including initiatives within insurance, trusts, 401K, and developing the Chief Investment Office in a Box model. Explore new opportunities for the firm to offer innovative products to clients.

Change Management:
  • Drive change management initiatives, ensuring that the organization adapts to evolving business needs and that team members are equipped to thrive in a service-oriented culture.

Skills & Experience:
  • Strong background in change management and leading projects in a service-oriented culture.
  • Experience managing agile and scrum teams.
  • Proven track record in platform upgrades, particularly within the financial services or related industries.
  • Ability to manage and lead compliance initiatives in alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Expertise in data optimization projects and improving business operations.
  • Strong understanding of M&A integration and organic growth strategies.
  • Previous experience working with strategic initiatives in areas like insurance, 401K, and trust services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a history of working closely with senior management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (MBA or equivalent is a plus).
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in project management or related roles.
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and leading business transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with financial services products and platforms, particularly those relevant to advisors, insurance, and investment management.
