A large non-profit client of ours is looking for the below to start ASAP:

Office located in Midtown East

Organization: Jewish Non-profit

Location: Onsite

Job Type: Temporary with possibility to hire

Rate: $30/hr

Position Summary

The Gift Processing Coordinator will be responsible for efficient and accurate data entry for the organization using Raiser's Edge. This role is crucial to ensuring the integrity of the donor database, which enables them to communicate effectively with supporters, manage fundraising efforts, and produce accurate reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong organizational skills, and is experienced in data management, preferably within a non-profit environment.

Key Responsibilities

Data Entry and Maintenance:
  1. Accurately enter and update donor information in CRM.
  2. Ensure all data is organized and up to date in compliance with organizational policies and data privacy regulations. Discretion is required.

Donation Processing and Acknowledgments:
  1. Record and process gifts and pledges.
  2. Coordinate with finance and development teams to reconcile records.
  3. Generate and send acknowledgment letters and receipts for donations within designated timelines.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

Experience
  1. At least 1-2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in a non-profit setting.
  2. Hands-on experience with Raiser's Edge or comparable donor management/CRM software is required.

Skills/ Competencies
  1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and comfortable learning new software and tools.
  2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  3. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  4. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  5. Self-motivated with a commitment to supporting the mission and values of a non-profit organization.
  6. Basic understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices in donor data management.

Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience with non-profit fundraising or development activities.
  2. Familiarity with additional CRM systems is a plus.
  3. Knowledge of tax receipt and donor acknowledgment processes.
